4 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup baking powder
1 cup cold unsalted butter
4 eggs
1 cup buttermilk

Sift together dry ingredients.

Cut in butter with pastry cutter.

Whisk eggs & buttermilk together.

Combine wet ingredients with dry and knead together gently.

Roll out on well floured surface and cut out scones to desired size.

Bake in 375 oven for 10-12 minutes.
Yield 24 scones
